Learn about the design of the Middle Passage Memorial and support its construction in Independence Park, Bristol, RI. Learn also about the Middle Passage Project which promotes reconciliation and healing through the recognition of Bristol’s role in the International Human Trade in the 18th and 19th Centuries. Bristol has joined with the neighboring towns of Newport and Warren and with other ports throughout the United States in participating in the UNESCO Routes of Enslaved Peoples program and erecting a memorial to this history.
Each ticket is $35 and ticket-holders will receive two free drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). A portion of the cost of every ticket will go to support the construction of the memorial.
