RI Latino Arts: Barrio Tours

This tour held October 10th will focus on first-person oral histories found in the book Nuestras Raíces, which have inspired the play to be performed at Trinity Repertory in January 2024.
NOTE: We will be walking on busy sidewalks and crossing a highway overpass. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
Meet 15 minutes before the scheduled start time in the grass area of the Roger Williams Park @Broad Street entrance. The address you can use to search is 1232 Broad Street, Providence, RI 02905, and the location where we will be meeting is across Broad Street.
Ample street parking is available on Miller Street or Broad Street, and also next to the tennis courts, just inside the park entrance.
NOTE: We need at least six (6) people registered to hold each tour.

At the end of each tour, we will gather at the Roger Williams Park Gateway Center @Broad Street to reflect on the tour — what does Broad Street mean to you? Share your memories of Broad Street. Refreshments will be served.
