Rhode Island Genealogical Society 50th Anniversary Dinner 1975-2025

Join the Rhode Island Genealogical Society for their 50th Anniversary Celebration Dinner! The event will feature a presentation from the Rhode Island Department of State team. The conversation will follow the Semiquincetennial efforts by the RIDOS Team to further our historic preservation and curation. RI Semiquincentennial Program Coordinator, Lauren Fogarty and Rhode Island State Archivist, Ashley Selima.
Guest Speakers:
Lauren Fogarty, M.A., Program Coordinator for the Rhode Island Semiquincentennial Commission (RI250), leading efforts to commemorate Rhode Island’s role in the American Revolution through public programs, civic engagement, and heritage tourism.
Ashley Selima, MLIS, MPA, CA, Director of State Archives & Public Records Administration for the State of Rhode Island, working with agencies and stakeholders throughout the state to ensure proper care and management of public records for their entire lifecycle.
