Event description: 250 years ago, events were taking place that would lead to to the American Revolution and the birth of the United States. Join town residents and historians John Dower and Marilyn Harris as they describe stories and circumstances surrounding fifteen original documents from the years around the Revolutionary War. An added bonus to this program will be an exhibit set up by the Rhode Island State Archives entitled, “Rhode Island’s Revolutionary Communities” featuring the original documents talked about by Dower and Harris.
