The Newport Historical Society presents Newport 1775: Whose Side Are You On?, an immersive exhibition and lecture series that delves into the complex choices faced by Newport residents on the brink of the American Revolution.

This exhibition invites visitors to explore the personal stories of six Newporters as they navigate the uncertainties of a city on the verge of revolution. Through interactive displays, period artifacts, contemporary media reports, and a 17th-century printing press, the exhibit sheds light on how information spread, opinions were shaped, and decisions were made during this pivotal time.
