Major General Nathanael Greene Memorial Bench Dedication

Join the Major General Nathanael Greene Homestead and the Nathanael Greene Homestead Association in marking our nation’s 250th anniversary! The two organizations will dedicate a memorial bench in honor of the contributions of Coventry’s native son, Nathanael Greene. As we approach the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, this bench is a reminder of his legacy as Commander of the Southern Department of the Continental army. Greene led a brilliant campaign that ended the British occupation of the South and paved the way for victory against the Crown!

The event will entail the bench dedication, wreath laying, and demonstrations by the Kingston Reds.
