This Independence Day, the Rhode Island State Archives will be open to the public with three versions of the Declaration of Independence on display! Stop by and see the Southwick Printing (1776), the Goddard Printing (1777), and the Stone Printing (1823). Archives staff will also be in attendance to answer questions.
This is a rare and exclusive opportunity to experience American history on display!

Update: The Brave Men As Ever Fought portrait will now also be on display! The portrait honors the First Rhode Island Regiment, a pivotal and diverse group of soldiers who played a crucial role in the American Revolution.
